Calibration Servicing
Our calibration services cover a vast range of devices, we can provide voltage, current, resistance, temperature, weight and pressure calibration and some more obscure services for level monitoring consisting of our unique Thermodynamic Level Transmitters, Conveyor Belt Jockey Wheel Under Speed Detection Systems.
Our specialty is " in motion weighing" and have a variety of calibration devices including portable precision roller chains which we provide for clients in mining and manufacturing at no cost.
Our many years of experience have proven that nothing apart from a full material test can approach the accuracy offered by roller chain calibration standards. Chains, even simple certified link chains, can simulate a load and belt interface where static weight tests can be many percent in error due to sometimes very minor misalignment issues.
We provide chain calibration standards ranging from less than a kg per metre up to massive 500 plus kg/m with self deploying precision roller chains, we have proven results of just a few tens of tonnes error in almost 50,000 tonnes when ship loading - using just a few lengths of link chain on a system running at about 500 tonnes per hour and other clients running thousands of tonnes per hour regularly have sub one percent errors reported monthly.
It is with great pride that we can look back on serving major clients who were 8 to 10 and even 15 to 20 % in error with "Guaranteed 0.25% accuracy" belt weighers and now enjoy sub one percent movements in calibration on a month to month cycle having installed chain calibration systems and remedied basic installation errors which should never have occurred.
We invite you to bring your "problem" belt weighing applications to us, our accumulated knowledge will very probably reveal a solution, we are appalled by the "sell at all costs" philosophy which drives vendors to offer ridiculous degrees of accuracy and then walk away when inevitably devices fail to perform when wrongly applied.
